With all-female vendors working on this styled shoot at Stan Mansion in Illinois, the inspiration was power and confidence. Says photographer Traci Schaefer, “We wanted to photograph something that showed strength and courage between two women. With the back drop being a vintage mansion, we wanted a modern look with an edge to it.”
The models captured elegance and romance, but pushed a modern aesthetic. Says Schaefer, “The colors of our floral kept everything elegant and the teal gave a pop of courage and strength, the same empowerment a same sex couple needs.”
