Jennifer and Leane met online and call themselves a digital success story. Leane planned to propose during a long weekend in Laguna but the couple got into an argument and Leane thought their romantic weekend was ruined. Still, she walked up to Jennifer with the engagement ring in a box and said, “This is why we have to get into the car and get away.” Says Leane, “We were packed and on our way in thirty minutes.”
Jennifer later proposed to Leane—one one knee with musing playing—with a matching ring at their favorite Italian restaurant. Leane thought it was both romantic and fun.
The brides say that their wedding had an intimate feel to it. Both brides were escorted by their parents. “We came together from opposing doors. There was an intimate cocktail reception and up popped a wedding ceremony. People were standing and huddled in close and it was spontaneous and beautiful.”
Rather than have a first dance both Leane and Jennifer danced with their dads.
Say the brides: “We were together most of the wedding and the reception and that was our favorite part. It was the wedding we never knew we wanted.”
Leane & Jennifer say they wouldn’t change a thing, that their New Year’s Eve wedding was a great party that lasted well past midnight.
“We’re a thousand miles from comfort, we have traveled land and seaBut as long as you are with me, there’s no place I rather beI would wait forever, exulted in the scene
As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat.”
